Below, Linda and adopted daughter from Romania, Laura. Linda went through school with us twins, and was my twin's best friend. Now she heads an international adoption agency and was in USA TOday and took her child to visit her birth mom at age 5. The birth mom had 3 kids at home with no electric, water, and a leaking roof. Sounds just like us.I'm proud of Linda, who's come into her own in this issue (Romania is stopping all adoptions and she's protesting.)
This colorful batch were our next door neighbors from April thru November. They are from Hawaii and are Somoans.What was fun and unique to them was that they had lively, fun parties without drugs or alcohol. They'd serve take-out Chinese, all kinds, not just normal take-out fare, and rootbeer floats. We played games like "Budman," a card game for large groups. They were all very nice. No shoes in the house. They'd protect a friend  anytime. They sat on their porch and spoke to every passerby, pimp, hooker, auto mechanic. They'd chase the hookers throwing beer cans at them. They supplied a place for 12 to 20 folks to hang out all day , playing only reggae .. Very happy, good, people I miss a lot.

Jan and her new husband, who lives in Germany. Jan let me live in her Pacific Ocean beach guest house for 8 moths and cooked for me daily and loved my 4 year old and found my expert on my illness, peripartum cardiomyopathy.Contacted him and had him email me. he was the best doctor I saw for this. He said I could live 10 more years 6 years ago. Tampa General and UCLA said I had a year.They wanted to give me transplants stat. he said your hourglass tips as soon as you get one and if I were his daughter he'd recommend no transplant. Armed with this, I have lived 7 years longer than I was told I would.He treated me like royalty while every other Mediciad doctor treated me like white trash. Jan is a brick I love very much. knowing I was dying she let me have a movie-star life 8 months. I love this strong helpful woman so much!Ocean cottage! Worth a million!L.A.life! Her generosity has never been outdone.

I wil never want another man .You are it. I have been depressed to the max since he found a non-working,  broke lady from Formosa I mean Taiwan, and dropped me. Oddly he never told his family he loved me but tells them she is the love of his life.I contributed to the bills, she hasn't had a job  once.But he's in love--- so am I but too bad. I get to carry it in my head painfully. And he admitted he went out of his way to make me wish I'd chosen him, make me want him back. I think my hepatitis C got in our way as as soon as I moved in his house I had heavy  menses for 62 days straight and feared he'd get hepititis so  was cold to him.He didn't care but I did. Cuz I love him. Since we've had two passionate  love affairs 26 years apart we may yet not be done with each other,,,

All of these friends dropped me when I got so financially fucked.I miss them.
